99.2% Success Rate
If you have hyperhidrosis, you know that hyperhidrosis brings a primary level of suffering caused by sweating profusely. You will also know that there is a secondary level of suffering: the frustration that comes from trying to find a diagnosis and a treatment that works.
Along the way, you might have suffered multiple disappointments. You may have even doubted that a solution exists because of the overwhelming struggle you’ve endured.
If that describes you, we understand because we see people every day who feel the way you do. But it really is true: there is a solution.
Every year at the Center, we perform outpatient surgery for hundreds of hyperhidrosis patients with a success rate of 99.2%.
Whether the surgery is for your hands or your feet, the results of successful surgery are immediate.
As I say, I am with you because I understand how overwhelming this experience can be. The good news is that you’ve found it now, and we’re only a phone call away.

“I Never Thought This Was Going To Be Possible”:
What might seem like a small issue to others can deeply affect those living with hyperhidrosis. Nelly’s story shows just how much this condition can shape someone’s personal and social life.
Nelly just wanted to draw without ruining the paper, greet friends without feeling embarrassed, and sit through a church service without getting anxious about what was going to happen next.
But hyperhidrosis has a way of interrupting moments meant for connection and meaning, replacing them with anxiety & discomfort instead.
For example, going to church with the family had to be stopped, just because the service involved shaking hands.
Nelly also used to get excited about tattoo conventions but started avoiding these events because interacting with people often involved physical contact.
Before surgery, Nelly told friends how much it meant for someone with hyperhidrosis to finally hold hands with special people in their lives.
Nelly wondered: “Can the surgery finally allow me to draw without smudging the page? Or hold my mom’s and girlfriend’s hands without thinking twice?”
Nelly made the trip to The Center alone—but never felt alone. Our team has created a space where hyperhidrosis patients feel safe, seen, and supported.
Then came the moment everything changed. After the procedure, Nelly felt dry hands for the very first time.
Nelly’s first words said it all—just how much of that silent burden had finally lifted:
“It felt so surreal. It doesn’t even feel real right now…Extremely grateful. I never thought this was going to be possible. Bless Dr. Basseri. He’s amazing.”
If Nelly’s story resonates with you, maybe it’s also time for you to take back your life. Your moment could start right here.

Ever walked into a clinic and felt like no one really gets what you’re going through?
If you’ve ever felt embarrassed explaining your symptoms—or had to convince a provider that you’re not “just sweating too much”—you’re not alone.
At The Center, Dr. Basseri and his team listen differently. As hyperhidrosis specialists, we understand the value of taking the time to understand your story.
This approach enables us to respond with empathy, precision, and consistency throughout your care.
You’ll never feel brushed off here. From day one, we focus on what matters most: your sweat-free transformation.

An Overview of Hyperhidrosis Surgery:
Here’s what you can expect from our world-renowned surgeons’ precise approach to treating sweaty hands:
Before surgery, you’ll be administered general anesthesia so you don’t feel pain during the operation.
During the surgery for palmar hyperhidrosis, Dr. Basseri will make two small incisions on the chest.
Meanwhile, in operations for plantar hyperhidrosis, Dr. Basseri will make three small incisions near the flank (side of the lower abdomen).
This approach helps ensure fast recovery and minimal scarring.
Next, through these incisions, a thin tube with a camera (endoscope) is inserted, giving Dr. Basseri a clear, magnified view of the nerves involved in sweating.
He uses single-lumen intubation when treating sweaty hands. This technique ensures a steady airflow, preventing the lungs from collapsing during the procedure.
Then, Dr. Basseri locates and interrupts the sympathetic nerve chain, which triggers overactive sweat glands in the affected areas.
Dr. Basseri will clamp these nerve segments using titanium clips to block them from triggering excessive sweat.
Nerve clipping gives a safer margin of control by allowing for reversal. In the rare event it’s needed, Dr. Basseri can remove the titanium clips.
This reversibility isn’t possible with permanent methods like cutting or burning, which cause irreparable damage to the nerve.
Finally, Dr. Basseri will close the incisions using absorbable sutures, which dissolve naturally. You don’t need to return for a follow-up to have them removed.

Whether your symptoms are visibly intense or quietly disruptive, your personal account is vital for Dr. Basseri to evaluate and diagnose your condition.
During your evaluation, Dr. Basseri assesses both clinical signs and patient-reported experience using tools like the HDSS (hyperhidrosis disease severity scale), which categorizes the severity of your condition.
On the HDSS, lower scores (one to two) represent manageable symptoms. However, levels three and four indicate that hyperhidrosis is significantly interfering with daily routines and quality of life.
Most patients we see arrive at level four and often describe their symptoms as overwhelming and difficult to manage without intervention.
By combining your lived experience with medical insight, Dr. Basseri ensures your care reflects both science and self-awareness. This holistic approach helps our team determine the most appropriate path forward.
With us, you won’t be treated as just another case file. You’ll be seen, heard, and evaluated with the full picture in mind.

Most patients can resume their daily routines, including work or physical activity, within a week.
But our care doesn’t stop at results. Dr. Basseri personally follows up after your procedure to monitor your progress and answer any questions you might have during recovery.
From post-op check-ins to a guided return to daily life, we’re committed to whole-person healing, not just symptom relief.

Proven, Permanent Solutions for Sweaty Hands and Feet:
The nerves that trigger excessive sweating are located deep within the body: in the thoracic region (chest) for hands and in the lumbar region (lower back) for feet. Both regions require high-precision surgical treatments—ETS for sweaty hands and ELS for sweaty feet.
Here’s the catch: While about 25 surgeons globally specialize in treating sweaty hands, only two can perform safe, effective surgery for both hands and feet. Dr. Basseri is one of those who can perform both ETS and ELS.
This fact matters because the vast majority of patients—up to 95%— eventually will need both procedures spaced at least two months apart. Dr. Basseri’s dual expertise means you won’t have to search for another specialist when the time comes.
